Fugget About It is a new animated comedy sitcom about the misadventures of Jimmy Falcone. Carlo Gambini tracks the Falcones to Regina. Jimmy is a former New York mob boss, who goes from feared capo to friendly Canuck when he and his family enter the witness protection program in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Who on Earth chose the voice actors I don't know. I love the characters as I find them hilarious. There are times she wants to kill Cheech for making them move to Canada. Not one character is likable or even someone you would want to encounter in real life.
Seriously its just not my thing. I've been watching it since it premièred and it has successfully entertained me. I liked the younger daughter but she is basically a female Stewie Griffin with an Italian American flavor. Nope, not a bit because it wasn't presented in an offensive manner. Definitely worth watching, sit through at least one episode because in the end you'll probably like it. Although in my efforts of binge-watching this excellent show i now have nothing to replace it. But when I saw the rating of this show i was left terribly shocked! The stories weren't amazing but they were watchable for a week day but eventually I just found better stuff to watch.
I honestly don't understand why this show has such bad ratings. My main complaints with the show are the weird gross-out gags, nosebleeding. As a New Yorker, I find Fugget About It entertaining, and the characters are well developed, even if the show is more lazy-boy late night comedy than stimulating drama. She has a crush on Don Gambini's son Carmine, who's similar to her and also likes her. She is eighteen years old, and incredibly ditzy, often using her looks to gain the favor of the boys from her school.
December 5, 2013 02x12 Ass-Jax November 28, 2013 02x11 The Balls on This Room November 21, 2013 02x10 Pizza with Extra Cheech November 14, 2013 02x09 The Man from P. Also what the hell is with the Dudley Do Right character? Such a great show with such awful below average rating. She is seven years old and takes after her father and uncle in her mobster mentality. Being of a certain age myself i grew up watching The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, Bottom and Blackadder so this didn't offend me in the slightest. I guess I was sleeping on that one :p The creators finally got this one right and the additional writer on board makes a great recipe for this Teletoon comedy! When nothing comes of it, he politely throws Gambini out of a nineteen storey window.
I gave two episodes a shot and I didn't laugh once. I'm insulted that Hulu thinks I would like this and I will seriously have to look at other things I have viewed more closely because they must think I'm a cretin. With all of New York out to get him, Jimmy has no choice but to turn to the Feds, who move the Falcones to Regina, change their name to MacDougal, and teach them how to live like regular schnooks in the Great White North. Pretty Please with a cherry on the top! She loves her children but hates Uncle Cheech due to him being the reason her family had to move to Canada. Well written and well presented, i had at least 1 Laugh Out Loud episode per episode and, even though i probably only chuckled once per show, that chuckle lasted for around 23 minutes! Fugget About It is actually very funny, which is quite a surprise. Afterwards, the rest of the Gambini mob attempts to murder Jimmy in retaliation, not caring if his family gets killed in the process. I wouldn't explicitly recommend it but it doesn't suck.
Jimmy is a former New York mob boss, who goes from feared capo to friendly Canuck when he and his family enter the witness protection program in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. A feeling of people in quite desperation that is hard to laugh at. She has a brother named Paulie who is similar to Petey but can't mention him because Paulie ratted Jimmy out in a past crime. The animation is terrible for one, similar to Total Drama Island but somehow it doesn't work for this show. The voices are decent for the characters but they don't have good jokes or stories to work with. This results in Jimmy and his family moving to Regina and living a new life under the name McDougal.
But whatever you're tastes are I assure you that this is certainly not 5. While pleading for his uncle Cheech's life, Don Gambini made it clear to Jimmy that he had no choice but to kill his uncle, before making a sexual innuendo about Jimmy's oldest daughter, Theresa, at point Jimmy threw Don Gambini out of the 19th floor window to his death. The humor is low-brow, and the dialogue is spot-on Brooklyn. It tells a story well and has quite a few very funny moments in every episode. His ill-fated attempts to meld his mobster lifestyle with the Canadian way drives many of the plots of the series. The show is not bad at all and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Family Guy or The Sopranos. From lame one-note jokes about how wacky Italians are to toothless jokes about Canada, this show is about as bland as you can get.
It deserves a whole lot more. The best part of the show was always at the beginning where they show you a flash back to the process of how they went into witness protection. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm shocked at how bad this show is. The jokes all seem like they are about that level. . This show is one I was warned about when my friends told me not to bother checking it out at all, saying it just isn't any good and not funny. The only thing missing is Fran Dreshcer whining her way through dialog to make it worse.
On its own kind of bland but it doesn't leave any bad tastes in your mouth. Of course, the humour is very Canadian, so if you're not from Canada you may not enjoy it as much as a Canadian would. Thank you for providing some laughs in an age where they are somewhat lacking in general! Keep up the great work guys, and let's see that 3rd Season soon. It's one tasteless joke about Italians after another, blah blah were are in the mob,and hairy and low class and violent criminals, but ain't we adorable? I have never reviewed anything not even my most favorite films. This little non-linear saga in bite size pieces is actually cool. With all of New York out to get him, Jimmy has no choice but to turn to the Feds, who move the Falcones to Regina, change their name to MacDougal, and teach them how to live like regular schnooks in the Great White North.
