Well it was not my favorite book, and one of the reasons is because I can't believe that Emma was truly this gullible. All of this is cute and I wore a goofy grin the whole time I read it. Now let's add in the fact that the mob gets tied in and a huge mystery is involved-now the author has thrown in a ton on top of an already adorable book. Without giving away too much plot I will say there's a well thought out mix of romance, politics, corruption, and murder. Meanwhile, Polly has decided to leave for New York to look for Bobby, who enters Deadrock just after she leaves. In our busy world, I search for well written books to sweep me away. If you haven't read Katie O'Sullivan's books before, I would highly recommend you start here. While trying to figure out their feelings for one another they become entangled in a murder investigation, an excessive amount of mafia related mayhem, and a possible environmental catastrophe. She thought she found everything she wanted until there were mobsters, deception, corruption and death threats. The author's vivid descriptions happily ease you into the sights, sounds, smells and deliciousness that is life in a beach town like Provincetown, Cape Cod.
